AMARILLO, Texas – The WT Enterprise Center is launching an exclusive paid program beginning Feb. 20 designed to offer vital insights for key leaders of local businesses.
The Financial Leadership program will be led by Eric Alexander, president of Six Arrows Consulting and former CFO of Happy State Bank.
Limited to 15 participants, this 10-month program will provide finance leaders with group sessions and individualized coaching to explore keys to effectiveness and strategies for personal and professional growth in their vital roles. A one-time program fee of $3,000 includes an orientation, extensive working lunch sessions, individual coaching and a completion ceremony.
“One of the most challenging areas to manage in a growing business can be your finances,” said Brian Enevoldsen, managing director of the WT Enterprise Center. “What was once basic billing and receivables grows quickly into debt management, projecting cash flow and demanding leadership skills. Investing in the right financial leader is imperative to having a foundation you can trust and build upon.”
Finance leaders will participate in deep-dive conversations about challenges and opportunities for their growth, interact with third parties for valuable perspectives on finance leadership, and gain an understanding of the nonnegotiable characteristics of an effective finance leader. After completing the program, cohort members will have a better understanding of how to add significant value as the financial steward in their company. The program will include catered lunches for each of the working-lunch sessions.
“Having served in financial leadership roles for over 30 years, 20 of those in the CFO role, I understand the joys and challenges of financial leadership,” Alexander said. “Whether you are an accounting manager, supervisor, controller or CFO, this program will help you serve effectively in your role.”
Financial Leadership will be held in a confidential setting for attendees to engage and network. Applications for the program are open now; deadline is Feb. 13. The program will begin at noon on Feb. 20 at the WT Enterprise Center, 2300 N. Western St. in Amarillo.
